New Year 2008 Activities

Wednesday 2^nd January

Arts & crafts activities – make and decorate a 2008 calendar.  Also, make a secret keepsake box and Chinese paper lanterns.

Thursday 3^rd January

Visit to either Cineworld (to see Fred Clause / Enchanted or Bee Movie) or the theatre (to see a performance of Peter Pan or Aladdin) – to be confirmed at a later date.

Friday 4^th January

A colouring competition in the morning with a prize to be won!  In the afternoon, relax and watch a DVD (‘High School Musical 2’) in the afternoon, followed by a New Year afternoon tea party.

February Half Term

Our half-term play scheme activity week is about Healthy Eating / Nutrition and Valentine’s Day.

The children will be sampling a new variety of foods and will take part in a quiz, with a prize for the winner.  On Valentine’s Day they will be making cakes and biscuits and lots of other surprises.

A visit is arranged to Yr Hwylfan in Caernarfon and Archways Restaurant in Conwy for lunch.  At the end of the week the children can enjoy the new High School Musical 2 DVD.

Plans for the two-week Easter play scheme can be viewed from the beginning of March.
